On arrival at Haridwar, our representative will pick you up and escort you. After a brief orientation session, we proceed to Barkot, a quiet hill station, and base for trekking to Yamunotri. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Mussoorie's green valleys en route and take a short halt at the Kempty Falls.
Arrive at Barkot in the evening and check-in at the hotel. Retire and prepare for the next day's spiritual hike to Yamunotri. Dinner and overnight at Barkot. Enjoy a wholesome dinner at the hotel. Then prepare yourself for the spiritual hike which is having an altitude of 1,220 m. But make sure to keep your warm gear handy, as Barkot evenings may be cold even in summer.
Drive to Jankichatti early in the morning. Start a walk of 6 km to Yamunotri, which is the source of river Yamuna and first in Char Dham temples. Ponies, palkis, or even the foot track can be rented by pilgrims as per their choice and physical ability.Take a dip in the Surya Kund, the hot thermal spring right in front of the temple, and then pray at the Yamunotri Temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Back trek to Jankichatti and drive to Barkot. Enjoy the dinner and an overnight halt in Barkot. As Yamunotri is situated at an altitude of 3,293 m, its important to trek cautiously and carry light snacks and water for the journey.
Breakfast in the morning, followed by hotel check out and a drive to Uttarkashi, a holy town on the River Bhagirathi. Scenic mountain views and serene Himalayan landscapes en route during the drive.
Check-in at your hotel in Uttarkashi. Evening, visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Walk along the calm streets and attempt to learn about the local culture of this sacred town. Arrive at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Uttarkashi offers you a calm and meditative environment at an altitude of 1,158 m. So, the atmosphere of Uttarkashi is peaceful and perfect for meditation and rest.
Early morning departure for Gangotri, the second Dham, which lies in the snow-white Himalayas. The travel is along the shores of the Bhagirathi River with landscapes of majestic beauty in between.
In Gangotri, take a sacred dip in the Bhagirathi River before darshan at the Gangotri Temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is believed that King Bhagirath prayed to Ganga here to descend to earth from heaven. After darshan and some peaceful moments at the temple, return to Uttarkashi. After arrival, enjoy your dinner and an overnight stay in Uttarkashi. Gangotri is situated at an altitude of 3,100 m. Do not forget to carry warm clothes and sunscreens as weather conditions are unpredictable.
Breakfast is followed by a road journey to Guptkashi, a tiny hill station enroute to Kedarnath. The journey is lengthy but scenic with Himalayan hills and Mandakini River.Hotel check-in on arrival. In the evening, you can go to the Ardhnarishwar Temple, a Lord Shiva and Parvati temple. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight halt at Guptkashi. Guptkashi is located at an altitude of 1,319 m. Also, make sure to complete your medical check-up at Sonprayag (obligatory for the Kedarnath trek).
Early morning, proceed to Gaurikund, the base for the trek to Kedarnath. Trek 16 km or use a helicopter (at additional cost). Kedarnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is known for its snowy peaks and beautiful scenery. Upon arrival, go to the Kedarnath Temple and offer your prayers. Enjoy your warm dinner and views at an altitude of 3,583 m overnight at Kedarnath in a guest house or tent stay. For the next day, start early and carry rain gear, warm clothing, and essentials.
After the morning darshan at the Kedarnath Temple, begin the return trek to Gaurikund or take the helicopter (if booked). From there, drive back to Guptkashi. On arrival, rest properly and recover from the trek. Have a nourishing dinner and peaceful accommodation at the hotel. It is important to rest properly and stay hydrated after the return trip to help your body regain energy.
Post-breakfast, proceed to the final Dham – Badrinath. The scenic drive passes through scenic valleys, hill roads, and the holy town of Joshimath. On arrival, check into the hotel. Visit Badrinath Temple in the afternoon, a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. You may also visit Tapt Kund (hot springs) and Mana Village, the last Indian village on the way before entering Tibet.
Experience the evening aarti at the temple for a sacred experience. After the aarti, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay at Badrinath. Located at an altitude of 3,133 m the place gets quite cold after sunset, so bring some warm clothing because the temperature drops significantly at night.
Morning darshan at the Badrinath Temple, and then proceed towards Rudraprayag, the confluence town of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers.Stop mid-way at Joshimath to visit the Narasimha Temple, and if time allows, enjoy a panoramic view from the ropeway. Proceed further to Rudraprayag and stay at the hotel. Enjoy a warm dinner and an overnight stay. For a peaceful end to the day, spend some more time alongside the river in the evening at Rudraprayag, it is serene and spiritually uplifting.
Return to Haridwar after breakfast. On the way, see the union of rivers at Devprayag where Bhagirathi and Alaknanda unite to become the Ganga.
On reaching Haridwar, you can proceed to your onward journey or spend some time attending the evening Ganga Aarti At Har Ki Pauri in case of an additional night stay. After a lovely breakfast, your tour will end here.
