Arrive Jaipur – Gateway to Rajasthan

 

Your journey to wildlife starts in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. At Jaipur Airport or Railway Station, our representative receives you with a warm welcome and transfers you to your hotel. After a warm welcome to the hotel and refreshment, be prepared to relax and unwind in the serene atmosphere of your hotel.

 

Evening city tour of Jaipur will be possible in the evening time. See the royal architecture of City Palace and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Jantar Mantar to delight in its fabulous astronomy instruments. Visit for a photo stop to the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and stroll through the local market.

Ranthambore from Jaipur (Approx 4 hours) – Into Tiger Country

 

Breakfast and drive to Ranthambore National Park, India's most celebrated tiger reserve. Situated in the Vindhya and Aravalli hills, Ranthambore is a shelter for the rare Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, marsh crocodiles, sloth bears, hyenas, and more than 300 species of birds.

 

Arrive at the jungle lodge or resort. Relax in nature in the afternoon. Go for a nature walk under guidance or just relax in the peaceful wild of Ranthambore in the evening.

Ranthambore Wildlife Safari

 

Begin your day with a jungle safari in an open canter or jeep at dawn. The safari will take you into the interior of the park's wild where you will be able to spot a lot of animals, and if fortune smiles on you, even the rare tiger. The forests, ancient ruins, and diverse wildlife in their natural surroundings make the ride one to remember.

 

Later after the safari, return to the hotel for breakfast. You'll have some leisure time, and you can take this time out to visit the Ranthambore Fort, situated on top of a hill, and presenting marvelous panoramic vistas of the park.

 

Afternoon: Take an additional night safari to explore yet another part of the park with a good chance of spotting further wildlife.

 

Night Stay in Ranthambore

 

Bharatpur from Ranthambore (Approx. 5 Hours) – Bird Watcher's Paradise

 

Following breakfast, proceed to the Keoladeo Ghana National Park at Bharatpur, a World Heritage Site. One of India's finest bird sanctuaries for migratory birds, this park is home to thousands of species of birds, including painted storks, pelicans, cranes, egrets, kingfishers, and Siberian cranes (seasonal).

 

Check into your hotel and rest for some time before you go to the sanctuary in the afternoon. You can take a stroll around the sanctuary or enjoy a peaceful ride on a rickshaw.

 

Overnight stay at Bharatpur.

 

Bharatpur to Sariska (Approx. 4 Hours) – Land of Leopards

 

After a quiet early morning stroll at the bird sanctuary and breakfast, go to Sariska Tiger Reserve in Alwar district. Known for its tigers, Sariska is inhabited by leopards, jungle cats, hyenas, and wild boars.

 

Visit and check in to your resort later spend some time to see the natural surroundings. In the late evening, enjoy a short wildlife tour or village tour around the buffer zone of the forest.

 

You can stay overnight at Sariska.

 

Sariska Wildlife Safari – Jodhpur Drive (Evening Drive)

 

In the morning, have an early breakfast, and then go for the exciting morning jungle safari in Sariska Tiger Reserve. Catch glimpses of wildlife such as tigers and leopards, and trek through the hilly terrain of semi-deciduous forests.

 

Afternoon: Unwind and have lunch prior to setting out on a journey to Jodhpur, Rajasthan's "Blue City." Drive down or travel by a flight or a train to reach Jodhpur in the evening. Check in at your hotel and rest.

Jodhpur Sightseeing – Bishnoi Village Visit

 

The day is a mix of cultural interaction and wildlife tours. Begin the day at stunning Mehrangarh Fort, with panoramic views over Jodhpur blue-painted city houses. Also see Jaswant Thada, stunning white marble cenotaph, and shop Sardar Market, renowned for spices, cloth, and crafts.

 

Afternoon Bishnoi Village tour in a village safari. Bishnoi inhabitants are well-known for their affection and sympathy with nature and animals. Blackbucks, chinkaras (Indian gazelles), and birds exist there. Inhabitants of villages are also highly cooperative with conservation work, so it's a new nature-welcoming experience.

 

Night stop at Jodhpur.

 

Jodhpur to Mount Abu by road (around 5 hours) – Rajasthan's Green Sanctuary

 

Breakfast and drive to Mount Abu, the sole hill station in Rajasthan, located amidst the Aravalli Hills. While the majority of Rajasthan consists of desert scenery, Mount Abu is a hilly green locale, a soothing relief from otherwise arid country.

 

Arrive and check-in at the hotel. In the evening, proceed to Nakki Lake to enjoy a scenic boat ride and sunset views from Sunset Point.

Mount Abu – Temple visit and Wildlife Sanctuary

 

Mount Abu is not only blessed with the most beautiful views but also has the Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary that covers more than 300 square kilometers of forest cover. Have breakfast in the morning and then go to the sanctuary for a wildlife safari or a nature walk. Get a glimpse of jungle cats, leopards, sambar deer, and birds.

 

After the end of the safari, visit Dilwara Jain Temples, known for exquisite marble work. The second half of the afternoon will be spent leisurely doing shopping at local bazaars or just taking rest in Mount Abu's pleasant weather.

Mount Abu to Udaipur (Approx. 3 Hours) – Departure

 

On your last day of tour, unwind with a leisurely breakfast and then drive to Udaipur, or the City of Lakes. If time allows, enjoy a leisure boat ride on Lake Pichola with picturesque views of the City Palace, Jag Mandir, and Lake Palace.

 

Then head towards the airport or railway station for onward journey, and this great wildlife tour of the lovely state of Rajasthan comes to an end.
