The palace is next to Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II. As the sun sets, see the lovely Hawa Mahal, which has a honeycomb-like façade. Shop from the congested local bazaars near Johari and Bapu Bazaars for traditional clothing, ornaments, and handicrafts. Overnight in Jaipur.

Inside the fort, see the royal apartments, mirror work at Sheesh Mahal, and panoramic views from the battlements. Then proceed to Jal Mahal for shots of the palace floating on the lake.

Upon arrival at Ranthambore, check-in to your wildlife resort or hotel. Free evening to unwind in nature. You can unwind by the pool or take a short walk near the lodge area. Dinner and overnight stay at Ranthambore.
