Delhi to Agra – Taj Mahal & Mughal Grandeur

Your journey starts with a pickup in Delhi early in the morning. We will pick you up at the train station, hotel, or airport. You will then start your journey to Agra by a comfortable car. Upon arrival in Agra immediately visit the Taj Mahal which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is a white marble mausoleum constructed by Shah Jahan in the remembrance of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, which is an architectural marvel and a token of everlasting love. Chill out enjoying its beauty and gain knowledge on its interesting history.Then take up Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through red sandstone walls, big halls and courtyards which resound the tales of the Mughal Empire.  After that, proceed to Mehtab Bagh, a garden across the Yamuna River, for a peaceful sunset view of the Taj Mahal.In the evening, you can sample regional sweets like Agra Petha or visit workshops that create marble inlay.

Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri – Arrival in the Pink City

Have breakfast, check out your hotel and start driving to Jaipur (approx. 5 hours). Along the road visit Fatehpur Sikri, a red sandstone city founded by Emperor Akbar. It is on the UNESCO list which exhibits Buland Darwaza and Jama Masjid and Panch Mahal to witness the Mughal-era planning and architecture of 1538-1605. Spend time wandering in the royal courtyards and enjoying the distinctive mixture of Hindu and Persian design features.Also, ride on roads through the picturesque villages and roads to the Pink City of Rajasthan- Jaipur. Once you arrive, please check into your hotel, rest a little and in the evening, go to a beautiful marble temple-Birla Temple devoted to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. One can even have a walk through various local markets such as Bapu Bazaar or Johari Bazaar, where handicrafts, traditional clothes and jewels are offerable.

Jaipur Sightseeing and Return to Delhi

Have your breakfast and start with sightseeing in Jaipur, starting with a ride to Amber Fort, which is situated in the fringe of the city. This grand hilltop fort is a mixture of Hindu and Mughal structures and boasts of marvelous visuals of the Maota Lake below. Explore royal residences like Diwan-i-Aam and Sheesh Mahal.Travel to Jal Mahal, a palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, on your way back to the city. There is no access to go in, but it is a great place to take photos with the hills and water in the background. Go on to City Palace which is still the home of the royal family and encompasses a number of museums, courtyards and beautiful artwork. Take a walk to the tense positioned Jantar Mantar, the 18th century astronomical observatory with giant equipment. Conclude at a brief photo stop of Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds that boasts of elaborate windows and pink facade.After the tour ends, start with your long journey back to Delhi (approximately 5-6 hours).
