Jaipur – Forts, Palaces, and Heritage Views

Reach the capital city of Rajasthan Jaipur and mingle with the Chetram Holidays representative at the airport or rail station. Once you have registered in your pre – booked hotel, start exploring this colorful and historical city. Begin your tour of the magnificent Amber fort that sits at the top of a hill and portrays the finest Rajput architecture with lots of vast courtyards, halls built of mirrors and the breathtaking view. Then, visit Jal Mahal, a cute water palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.Next, come back to the city and see the magnificent City Palace, the center of the royal family of Jaipur which consists of courtyards and museums. Right next door is the Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century astronomical observatory; a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Jaipur to Agra – Forts and Mughal Architecture

Post breakfast, you can check out of your hotel and depart towards Agra that is located 240 km north of Jaipur and takes approximately 5 hours to reach via road. In the process, visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was a historical city constructed by Emperor Akbar. Pay a visit to the sites such as Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and the tomb of Salim Chishti which is peaceful in its architecture and red buildings made of sandstone.Once you are done with Fatehpur Sikri visit, you can begin the journey to Agra. Arrive at your hotel and check into your accommodation after which you can relax.In the afternoon, spend time at the magnificent Agra Fort which is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is a giant red sandstone fortress where the Mughal emperors used to live for years. Go on a walk to its magnificent halls, palaces, and gardens each the signature of the Mughal design.In the evening, make a trip to Mehtab Bagh, a garden that directly faces the Taj Mahal situated on the opposite bank of Yamuna River. Agra – Local Experience and Departure
