After breakfast you will proceed to Amber Fort and will have an option for an elephant or a Jeep ride up to the entrance of the fort. Drive to Jodhpur, the “Blue City”. Later you will explore the enormous Mehrangarh fort, one of the largest forts in India, and later visit Jaswant Thada, the beautiful marble cenotaphs. In the evening, visit the clock tower market and collect some souvenirs. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Visit the “Golden City,” Jaisalmer. Upon arrival, visit the renowned Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli and Gadisar Lake. Go in the evening to the folk dance and puppet show at a cultural center. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Wake up in the morning and have your breakfast, continue to drive for the desert safari. Stop at the abandoned village of Kuldhara that has some interesting lore around it, and continue the journey to Sam Sand Dunes. Take a camel ride on the sand dunes and enjoy the sunset. Later, enjoy dinner and a cultural show under the star-filled night sky. Overnight at desert camp.
Drive to Bikaner, famous for desert scapes. Go see Junagarh Fort and Lalgarh Palace. Later visit the National Research Centre on Camel (Camel Breeding Farm). Overnight stay in Bikaner.
Drive to Udaipur, the ‘City of Lakes’ famous for its lakes and palaces of romantic India. Evening take a boat ride in Lake Pichola to visit Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas (Lake Palace). Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Following breakfast, explore the City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari, Jagdish Temple and Sajjangarh Palace (the Monsoon Palace). Later, you will be moving to Mount Abu – the only hill station in Rajasthan in the evening. Take an evening stroll of Nakki Lake. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.
In the morning, go to the well-known Dilwara Jain Temples which are the delightful marble chapels. Afterwards, drive to the airport of Udaipur or Ahmedabad to board your flight back toTamil Nadu with memories of the royal heritage of Rajasthan.
