Arrival in Shimla – Leisure & Evening Walks

Your tour commences with your arrival at Shimla, capital of Himachal Pradesh, one of the most popular hill stations in India. Checking into your hotel is a refreshing experience on two fronts, The fresh mountain air and colonial atmosphere of the town makes you feel refreshed. Later in the evening, go at a slow pace on the very famous Mall Road in Shimla and Ridge. Stroll around the architecture of the British era, make purchases in the small shops which are selling woolens and handicrafts and after that take some hot coffee in one of the cozy cafes. A glorious sunset through the Ridge, across the range of mountains, is the ideal introduction to your ride.

Shimla to Kufri Excursion & Local Sightseeing

Following breakfast proceed to Kufri, a small hill station about a short journey away in Shimla. With panoramic views and open meadows, Kufri is the place of horse riding and winter activities during winters. You may as well pass through the Himalayan Nature Park where rare birds and animals are found. In the evening, back to Shimla and visit Christ Church, Jakhoo Temple, State Museum. On your way, you might stop at Kullu to see the local bazaar and see whatever you can of river rafting should time allow it.
