Arrive in Delhi

Arrive in Delhi where the ancient and modern lifestyle are still alive. Arrive in the hotel and have a rest before commencing sightseeing. Start with Old Delhi, which was the base of Mughal India. Go to Jama Masjid which is one of the biggest mosques in India, an architectural wonder done by Shah Jahan. Ride a rickshaw through the crowded street of Chandni chowk, full of the scent of street food and the beauty of old fashioned markets.

Explore Qutub Minar, the victory tower built in the 12th century with an Indian-Islamic style of architecture. Go back to your hotel and have a good dinner as you look forward to all the activity that awaits.

Delhi Sightseeing

Wake up and have a hearty breakfast. Explore the Tomb of Humayun which was a magnificent building by the Mughals and inspired the design of the Taj Mahal. Stroll through its beautiful gardens and its marble walkways. Visit Lotus Temple, a Bahaist House of Worship that has a flower-like design and reflects a peaceful atmosphere.

Have lunch and then drive to Agra, the city of love and Mughal glory. During the evening, go to Mehtab Bagh, a quiet garden on the other side of the Yamuna River, where one can see the sunset over the Taj Mahal. Explore Jaipur

Start your tour of Jaipur city, a city of royal background and bazaars after breakfast. Begin by seeing the Amber fort which rises on a hill overlooking the Maota Lake. The architecture of the fort is a magnificent combination of the Hindu and Mughal designs. Explore its splendid halls, the Sheesh Mahal, with its gleaming mirrorwork. On your return, you can stop and take pictures of the Jal Mahal, the Water Palace that is lying serenely in the centre of the Man Sagar Lake. Then proceed to the City Palace which is the home of the Jaipur royal family which presents beautiful artifacts, costumes as well as royal heirlooms. Visit Jantar Mantar which is an astronomical observatory commissioned by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, which uses gigantic stone instruments to follow the celestial movements.
