Pick-up point is either the Jodhpur airport or Jodhpur railway station. Take a drive to your hotel and check in. Take a break and then head to Mehrangarh Fort which is an impressive site overlooking the Blue City. Visit the white marble cenotaph called the Taj of Marwar, Jaswant Thada. In the evening, walk around the market of the clock tower and eat local snacks. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Breakfast and then depart by road to Jaisalmer (6 hours). Enjoy the view as you get further into the desert. On arrival, check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, go walking around Gadisar Lake, a tranquil place with temples and ghats. Behold the sunset on the water. Retreat at the hotel in the evening.
Explore the Sonar Quila after breakfast. Homes, shops, and narrow lanes with history still exist in this living fort. Visit Patwon Ki Haveli which is renowned for its carvings. After breakfast, head towards Sam Sand Dunes (40 km). En route, visit Bada Bagh which has the royal cenotaphs. Then continue to Kuldhara, the deserted village with the secret of its history. In the evening, approach Sam Sand Dunes. Have a camel ride on the golden sands at sunset. Then enjoy dinner and a folk music and dance performance in the desert camp. Overnight under the stars in a deluxe tent.
Get up early in the desert and enjoy a sunrise walk in the sand. Breakfast at the camp and return to Jaisalmer.
