Upon your arrival at Haridwar Railway Station/Dehradun Airport our local representative will pick you and drive you to the hotel. Later, freshen up and walk down one of the most famous ghats on the Ganga that is Har ki Pauri. The cable car can take you to the top of Mansa Devi Temple, where you can get a birds eye view of the entire city and river. Drive to Rishikesh known as the Yoga capital of the world. Start your day with the visit of Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula which are two important suspension bridges on river Ganges providing magnificent views of the hills and the picturesque river landscapes. Take a serene walk at Parmarth Niketan and Beatles Ashram for nearby ashrams. Find riverside cafés where they dish up local Himalayan tastes. When the darkness falls, step into the evening with soothing Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat that is a kind of spiritual gaga. You can stay in Rishikesh and head to Joshimath the next day.
Set out to Joshimath, a beautiful town nestled in the peaks of Garhwal Himalayas after breakfast. It follows a route alongside winding mountain curves and the confluence of rivers such as Devprayag and Rudraprayag. There will be many beautiful locations for photos along the way. Upon arrival, get checked into your hotel and take it easy. You could take an evening walk in the town or visit local temples, just sit back and relax on your balcony overlooking mountains.
Post-breakfast, head towards the Auli Ropeway that is one of Asia's longest and connects Auli with its famous ski slopes and meadows. From the top, you get magnificent views of Nanda Devi and other Himalayan peaks. Winter offers snow activities such as skiing and summer is for nature walks along with alpine flowers. Take some really nice pictures at Auli Lake. Overnight stay at Joshimath in the evening.
Today, after breakfast leave for Chopta is also known as the “Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand”. Nestled amidst thick meadows and dark forests of pine, deodar, and rhododendron, Chopta offers a splendid view of the Himalayan ranges. Visit local viewpoints right after checking in at your place of stay. Take some deep breaths of mountain air and end the night beneath clear mountain stars.
After breakfast, drive for around 30 km to reach Sari Village, which serves as the start point of Deoria Tal trek. It is a beautiful lake in which one can see the reflection of lofty Chaukhamba peaks on a clear day and is surrounded by forests. Enjoy some peace and quiet along the well kept lakeside. Arrive Chopta by evening and spend one more night in the hills.
