Arrive in Delhi – Welcome to India

 

You will be traditionally welcomed at Indira Gandhi International Airport by Chetram Holidays' representative and taken to your hotel to check-in and relax.

 

If there is time, drive a short distance to India Gate, which is breathtaking at night. Discover in Connaught Place or have your first Indian meal. Overnight in Delhi.

 

Delhi Sightseeing – From Old Streets to Imperial Roads

 

Begin the day in Old Delhi, looking at the formidable Jama Masjid and rickshaw ride in the colorful, noisy Chandni Chowk market. Visit Red Fort (exteriors only) and serene Gandhi memorial, Raj Ghat.

 

Afternoon: visit New Delhi: drive along India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Then visit Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, and serene Lotus Temple. Drive back to your hotel for the night.

 

Agra – Stone of Love

 

Have breakfast and drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Jaipur to Kathmandu (By Flight)

 

Breakfast followed by drive to the airport for flying on a flight to Kathmandu, Nepal. Our representative will receive you at the airport and help you with your check-in to your hotel.

Free orientation walk around or rest at the hotel. Rest in the fresh mountain air and prepare for a new exposure to culture. Overnight at Kathmandu.

 

Kathmandu – Temples, Stupas, and Spiritual Vibes

 

Begin the day by climbing the Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) sitting on a hilltop in the valley in grand vista. Then make your way to Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal's holiest Hindu temple, near the bank of Bagmati River. Then go to Boudhanath Stupa, which is among the largest Buddhist stupas globally.
