Once you have checked in your hotel, you begin your sightseeing tour which takes you around New and Old Delhi.The initial impression you get of New Delhi comes as you drive past India Gate, a well known war memorial site followed by a visit to the just nearby Rashtrapati Bhavan, which is the official residence of the President. Go to the UNESCO World Heritage site Qutub Minar and one of the tallest stone towers in India.Visit the historic Red Fort in Old Delhi and have a rickshaw ride through crowded Chandni Chowk streets. You can also pay a visit to the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi known as Raj Ghat. Spend a day exploring its tales and heritage and then come back to your hotel in Delhi to spend the night
Following the breakfast, you will be checking out and starting your journey towards the Jaipur state capital of Rajasthan, which is only 270 km drive away to Delhi. Your journey will be about 5 to 6 hours: you will be enjoying very smooth national highways and small towns.After reaching Jaipur, you will be checking into your hotel and resting. In the evening, you can have a brief drive within the city and visit Albert Hall Museum in its outside version or relax in the local markets that are colorful and house handicrafts, textiles, and old jewelry.You can also visit Birla Temple illuminated at night and famous due to its white marble timbre. Go back to your hotel to spend an overnight stay in Jaipur.
Have breakfast and prepare to spend a full day sightseeing in Jaipur. Start your tour with a stupendous visit to the Amber Fort which is placed on the top of a hill. Visit its courtyards, halls covered with mirror pieces and old palaces with stories of the Rajput kings and queens.Picture stop at Jal Mahal, the Water Palace that floats on the lake of Man Sagar. See Buland Darwaza, Diwan-i-Khas and Jama Masjid, all displaying the magnificent Mughal architecture.Then drive to Agra and on arrival, check in to your hotel. Visit Mehtab Bagh, another garden that faces Taj Mahal and makes the sunset session peaceful and worth photography as well. Evening: Take a walk around the local markets and sellers where you can buy good marble work, leather items and local gift items.
Get up early to see the most famous symbol of love in the world, the Taj Mahal. Constructed by the Emperor Shah Jahan, in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, this monument is the work of white marble that is most beautiful during sunset. Visit its marble domes, lovely gardens and reflection pool that make it even more beautiful.After breakfast in the hotel, visit Agra Fort which is a red sandstone fort house with royal palaces, courtyards and balconies. Visit such sites as Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas and the Musamman Burj, where Shah Jahan spent all of his last years.And, in case you have time left, you can visit Itimad-ud-Daulah as well, also called the Baby Taj, which served as a prototype of the Taj Mahal.
