The scenic drive takes around 3.5 hours. On reaching Ayodhya, check into your hotel and relax. Begin your divine exploration with a visit to the newly built Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, the revered birthplace of Lord Ram. Close by is Kanak Bhawan, a beautifully decorated temple gifted to Goddess Sita, known for its serene surroundings. Return to your hotel.

Ayodhya Sightseeing – Ghats, Temples & Local Legends

After breakfast, continue your exploration of this sacred city. Visit Treta Ke Thakur Temple, believed to be located at the site where Lord Ram performed Ashwamedha Yagna. Then proceed to Mani Parvat, a sacred mound with panoramic views of the town and strong ties to Ramayan legends. In the afternoon, stroll through local streets filled with vibrant life, small temples, and religious shops. Visit the Guptar Ghat, believed to be the site where Lord Ram took Jal Samadhi. The tranquil ambiance of the riverbank makes it a peaceful place for reflection. As the sun begins to set, head to Saryu Ghat to witness the evening Ganga Aarti. The rhythmic chants, flickering lamps, and flowing river create a deeply calming and spiritual atmosphere. You may choose to sit quietly and soak in the energy or join in with the locals.Return to your hotel.

Ayodhya to Prayagraj – Spiritual Confluence and Historical Sites

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Prayagraj, about 170 km from Ayodhya (approx. 4 hours). On arrival, drive straight to the holy Triveni Sangam, where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati merge. This sacred confluence is one of the most important pilgrimage spots in India. Here, you may take a boat ride (optional) to the actual confluence point, where devotees perform rituals, take a dip, or simply sit in peace. The Sangam holds immense spiritual importance, especially during occasions like Kumbh Mela.Later, visit the Bade Hanuman Temple, home to a rare reclining idol of Lord Hanuman. Then continue to Akshay Vat, the “eternal banyan tree,” located within the Patalpuri Temple in the Allahabad Fort premises. It is considered indestructible and sacred by Hindus. In the afternoon, explore Anand Bhavan, the Nehru family’s ancestral residence, now a museum with exhibits from India’s freedom struggle. Prayagraj to Lucknow – Final Blessings and Return
