Then, walk over to Gadisar Lake, a serene man-made lake built in the 14th century. Begin the day at Jaisalmer Fort, the only "living forts" in the world where current inhabitants still reside today in golden yellow walls. Breakfast after morning, move to Ranakpur, located in the heart of Aravalli Hills. Visit world-famous Ranakpur Jain Temples, renowned for exquisite artifacts and rare marble carvings. The temple complex was constructed on over 1,400 intricately carved pillars.
Depart for Udaipur, Venice of the East and City of Lakes. Arrive in time to check into your hotel and relax a little before going for a sun set boat ride on tranquil Lake Pichola. Boat a round trip along Jag Mandir and the imposing City Palace over-looking the lakeside.
