After a healthy breakfast, drive off to Mandawa, an ancient but culturally evolved town renowned for its lovely painted havelis. Step in and behold the architectural splendor of Mandawa's stunning mansions adorned with lovely frescoes that illustrate Rajput as well as Mughal architecture. Visit the renowned Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli for its intriguing paintings, grand Jhunjhunwala Haveli, and Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, every one of which has astounding paintings that record the glorious history of Rajasthan. Go for a walk on Mandawa streets at sunset time, soaking up the heritage feel, before night stay in this tiny heritage town.
Afternoon breakfast, there is a visit to the desert city of Bikaner, a city renowned for history and architectural beauty. Begin your day at the humongous Junagarh Fort, an unconquered fort containing magnificent palaces, courtyards, and museums filled with royal jewels. Afterward, visit the intriguing Karni Mata Temple, popularly known as the Rat Temple, where thousands of rats are worshipped and roam around temple premises. After breakfast, drive to the breathtaking Golden City of Rajasthan, Jaisalmer. On entering the city, you will be awestruck by yellow stone structures. Morning at Jaisalmer Fort, one of the last two forts on earth because there are still people inside its old walls. Departure after breakfast to Udaipur, fondly referred to as Rajasthan's most romantic city.
