Rajasthan's beautiful capital, Jaipur, is not just a city—it's a whirlwind of royal heritage, craftsman's skill, bustling bazaars, and living tradition. Nicknamed the Pink City because of the pink color of its buildings, Jaipur presents an unlikely mix of architectural beauty, cultural richness, and sensory experience.
Four Days luxurious Jaipur Tour Package by Chetram Holidays enables one to see the city in a leisure and experiential way. It transcends the postcard monuments to soak in local experiences, heritage walks, off-beat treasures, and plenty of time to soak in the romance that is quintessential Rajasthan.
Morning: Jaipur Welcome & Amber Fort Exploration
Arrival will be greeted by our Chetram Holidays representative and driven to your hotel. Post-refreshment and hotel check-in, the tour to Jaipur begins with a drive through the historic periphery of Jaipur to the fabled Amber Fort.
Constructed in the 16th century, Amber Fort is a strong mix of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Walk through its palace courtyards, enter the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), and enjoy the breathtaking view of Maota Lake. Go for a jeep safari or opt for an optional elephant ride up to the ramp of the fort.
Return trip: Take a break at Jal Mahal, the scenic Water Palace which rises in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Ideal place for a photo stop and some relaxation.
Evening: Patrika Gate & Local Market Visit
Evening stop at Patrika Gate, the colorful gate that has become the most sought-after photo-generating site in Jaipur. This follows a walk down Bapu Bazaar or Johari Bazaar, renowned for colorful textiles, gems, and traditional crafts.
Return to hotel for relaxation or an optional Rajasthani dinner with cultural show at Chokhi Dhani.
Overnight Jaipur
Morning: Hawa Mahal, City Palace & Jantar Mantar
Start the day at the pink sandstone honeycomb wonder Hawa Mahal constructed solely for use by royal women to observe outside life without themselves being observed. Though largely viewed from the exterior, the interior passageways and view galleries are equally intriguing.
Proceed to City Palace, still partly royal residence today, and see its Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal, and great museums containing royal attire, arms, and souvenirs.
Then wander back into old science at Jantar Mantar, the 18th-century observatory and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its imposing sundials and instruments still function with unholy accuracy.
Afternoon: Albert Hall Museum & Craftsman's Skill
Visit the Albert Hall Museum, the oldest museum of Rajasthan situated within a beautiful Indo-Saracenic structure. Egyptian mummies and ivory carving do not go well along with alabaster Buddhas and ivory painting, but emerges a treasurehouse of art and history.
You can then visit a blue pottery shop or block print studio to observe the craftsman in action—or be invited to learn a traditional Rajasthani craft yourself.
Overnight stay at Jaipur
Morning: Jaigarh Fort – Defense & Power
Begin the day by visiting Jaigarh Fort early in the morning, renowned for possessing the world's largest wheeled cannon, Jaivana Cannon. The fort did not fall into the hands of an invasion force and boasts Aravalli hills and Amber Fort at its bottom, which is simply awe-inspiring to watch.
Nahargarh Fort – Romance of the Royals in the Afternoon
Then go to Nahargarh Fort, perched atop the Aravalli hills. Indo-European style surrounded by it makes the fort the best place to look out over the city—particularly sunset. Madhavendra Palace within is an architectural wonder with nicely furnished rooms and extended corridors.
Coffee or snacks are enjoyed at Padao Café, a rooftop café within the fort, which is famous for its sweeping vista of Jaipur.
Optional: Recommend a trekking trail or a cycling tour between the forts for the adventure sports enthusiast.
Evening at Jaipur
Morning: Galta Ji Temple (Monkey Temple)
Begin your final day with a serene drive to Galta Ji, or Monkey Temple. It is an 18th-century complex in a crowded valley filled with hills and dotted with sacred kunds (water tanks), pavilions, and temples. The serene environment here with friendly monkeys creates a unique spot of worship.
Late Morning: Sisodia Rani Garden or Birla Temple
Discover the little-known Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh, a stepped palace garden constructed for the queen with fountains, murals, and Mughal-pattern motifs.
Or, discover the sparkling white marble Birla Mandir, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi—a calm, contemporary temple amidst the stunning scenery of a picturesque hill.
Afternoon: Last-Minute Shopping & Departure
Spend your last few hours in Jaipur shopping for souvenirs—handicraft jewelry, miniature paintings, ethnic garments, or home furnishings block-printed. Take the last Rajasthani thali lunch (optional) before drop to airport, railway station, or hotel for onward journey.
