Arrival in Delhi, India's capital city. Welcomed by our representative and transferred to the hotel. After arrival, and after freshening up on check-in, start half-day tour of Delhi.
Start your tour of the Golden Triangle from the 12th-century high Qutub Minar. Proceed to Humayun's Tomb, precursor to the later Mughal splendor in the form of Taj Mahal. Drive-by tour of India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan, with eye-catching glimpses of Lutyens' Delhi.
Optional evening: Visit Connaught Place or have a welcome dinner at one of the local eateries.
Overnight Delhi.
Breakfast followed by full day sightseeing of Old and New Delhi.
Start at Raj Ghat, memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Followed by a visit to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Take a rickshaw ride through the bustling Chandni Chowk market, a living museum of old bazaars.
Then proceed to the Lotus Temple (Baháʼí House of Worship) and Akshardham Temple (if time is available). Finish the day at Red Fort, which celebrates India's independence.
Overnight in Delhi.
Breakfast at the hotel followed by checkout and then proceed to explore Agra, city of love.
Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and relax. Afternoon, go to Agra Fort, a 16th-century fort that housed Mughal emperors. View of sun-set of Yamuna River and far away Taj Mahal is heavenly.
Witness the Taj Mahal at sunset, when the white marble shines golden—something which will be etched in your memory for life and a centrepiece of your holiday. Hear the romantic and tragic tale behind this wonder of the world.
Optional: Tour a factory producing marble-inlay products or stroll through the Mehtab Bagh.
Night stay in Agra.
Post breakfast, depart for Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, often referred to as the Pink City. En route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a former Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar. Walk through the red sandstone complex, and visit Buland Darwaza, Jodha Bai’s Palace, and Salim Chishti’s Tomb.
Proceed on your journey along picturesque Rajasthani countryside to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. Relax in your evening either at leisure or by walking around surrounding bazaar roads.
Optional dinner: Spend a Rajasthani cultural evening with local cuisine at Chokhi Dhani.
Overnight in Jaipur.
Morning after breakfast, start a day tour of Jaipur with royal forts, temples, and colorful architecture.
First, go to the beautiful Amber Fort, which lies on a hill overlooking Maota Lake. Take a jeep ride to the fort gate and walk through beautiful halls such as Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace).
Stop at Jal Mahal, the lake palace, for a photo stop, and then go to City Palace, where the royal family resides to date, and nearby Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory with gigantic instruments to compute the stars.
End your day at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) with lacy pink sandstone facade.
Free evening for local shopping—purchase handicrafts, blue pottery, jewelry, and Rajasthani traditional wear.
Jaipur overnight stay.
Leisure breakfast, then leave and drive back to Delhi for your onward flight or train departure. Alternatively, drop-off at Jaipur Airport can be arranged if desired.
