Arrival in Haridwar – Evening Ganga Aarti

Reach Haridwar by road or rail, meet our representative and check in at the hotel. After spending some leisure time, head out to Har Ki Pauri in the evening for a memorable and divine Ganga Aarti. Watch hundreds of diyas float on the holy river while chants and bells fill up the air with only prayers. Walk beside the ghats, venture into sweet shops, and absorb all of that worship. Have dinner and overnight at the hotel. Overnight stay in Haridwar 

Haridwar to Rishikesh – Temples and Ganga Ghats

Post-Breakfast, proceed to Rishikesh, a city known for the gateway to Himalayan shrines. You can cover the iconic spots like Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula and the Beatles Ashram. Take a walk on the banks of the Ganga, and see sadhus in a state of meditation and listening to their sermons. Spending evenings at Triveni Ghat for the Ganga Aarti, feels private and peaceful in comparison to Haridwar. Have a cup of chai by the river or visit some local craft markets. 

Rishikesh to Guptkashi – Enroute Devprayag and Rudraprayag

After breakfast, proceed to drive to Guptkashi. On the way, visit Devprayag, this is the place where Bhagirathi river meets Alaknanda river and takes the name of Ganga which is considered Holy for Hindus to witness live. Proceed to Rudraprayag, yet another joining point of Alaknanda and Mandakini. On route, feast on splendid Himalayan vistas, verdant forests and local village markets. Check into your Guptkashi hotel when you arrive, visit the Vishwanath Temple as time allows and then retire for the night! Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Guptkashi to Kedarnath – Temple Darshan

On the next day, after breakfast, drive to Sonprayag and from there take a local jeep to Gaurikund. Visit Kedarnath through pony or trekking. The beautiful mountain scenery and the sound of flowing river streams surrounding this route. Check in to the guesthouse and after some rest, go to evening aarti at Kedarnath Temple. As you sip herbal tea under a magical sky full of amazing stars and towering snow peaks. Stay close to the shrine for an early morning darshan.

Kedarnath to Haridwar – Journey Ends

Get up early in the morning to attend the Mangala Aarti at Kedarnath Temple when the sun's rays first touch this temple. Pray and take a deep breath being in the serene atmosphere, trek back to Gaurikund. From that point go back to Son Prayag or Rudraprayag via Guptkashi. Next day, reach Haridwar in the evening and see off at the Railway station or Bus stand with the sweet memories of spiritual delight and culture of Uttarakhand Retreat.
