Jaipur – Arrival and Local Visit

Land in Jaipur, the capital of rajasthan. Our Chetram Holidays personnel will attend to you at the airport/railway site or lodge you in at your hotel. Take a break, then start exploring the city with the first sight of Birla Temple, the lovely creations of white marbles.Then, make a drive in old Jaipur and enjoy the street markets, perfect to shop printed fabrics, local crafts, and the state jewelry of Rajasthan. After dinner in the evening, visit the Albert Hall Museum with a flashing exterior elegance and finally, come back to the hotel to spend an overnight stay.

 

Jaipur – Forts and City Tour

Begin your day after breakfast by visiting Amber fort, which is on a hill outside the city. Visit the royal courtyards, Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) and watch the scenery of Maota Lake.Take photos on your way back to the Jal Mahal. In the afternoon, make a tour to the City Palace which is a beautiful mixture of Mughal and Rajput architecture. Just a short distance away, you can visit the Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO-architectural complex that is also an astronomical observatory, as well as the renowned Hawa Mahal, which in translation means the Palace of Winds.Enjoy your evening at liberty or by playing with local cuisine and then drive back to your hotel to rest.

Jaipur to Pushkar – Holy Ghats and Spiritual Vibes

After our breakfast, we shall checkout and drive up to Pushkar, a religious town roughly 150 kilometers to Jaipur. When you arrive, get checked in your hotel or camp then proceed to tour this peaceful town starting with the Brahma Temple as it is among the few temples of Lord Brahma in the world. It is then a walk across the sacred Pushkar Lake which is bordered by ghats and temples. You will have an opportunity to observe pilgrims performing rituals in the town and feel the calm atmosphere. There are also such Pushkar markets where you can shop and find clothes in boho style, leather items, and silver jewelry.

Pushkar to Udaipur – En Route Scenery

Following breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive towards Udaipur which takes about 5 hours. Gaze at the countryside of the rural Rajasthan, with its scattered farmlands and tiny villages.After arriving in Udaipur, only stay inside your hotel. The remaining day is free at disposal. You can have a little stroll along Lake Pichola or can just rest and take the scenic view of the city.

Udaipur – Palaces, Lakes, and Culture

Start your day by visiting City Palace which is one of the largest palace complexes of Rajasthan. Be amazed by its courts, palaces and museums found here that contain splendorous artifacts.Then you can take a boat ride across Lake Pichola and enjoy the view of Jag Mandir and the magnificent Lake Palace floating down the waters. See the beautiful garden Saheliyon Ki Bari constructed in honor of queenly ladies, with marble fountains and pools of lotus.Visit Jagdish Temple and optionally watch a performance of a folk dance in Bagore Ki Haveli.

 

Udaipur to Mount Abu – Hill Station Retreat

Have breakfast and check-out and then drive to Mount Abu- the only hill station of Rajasthan. It is situated about 165 km from Udaipur. Upon arrival check into your hotel with the hill view and relax. Go and tour the Nakki Lake where one enjoys boating and watching the sunset at the famous Toad Rock point. In the afternoon go round the small hill bazaar or rest in your hotel.

Mount Abu – Sightseeing and Departure

Following breakfast you can see the marvelous Dilwara Jain Temples, which are marked by the very intricate marble carvings and perfectly relaxed atmosphere. Such temples are a great attraction of mount Abu and it is a great example of architecture.If possible visit Guru Shikhar, highest point in Rajasthan that will give a panoramic view of Aravalli ranges. Afterwards, depart your hotel. At your departure time you will be left at Mount Abu railway station or Udaipur airport with memories of your palaces, lakes, temples and hills.
