Arrival in Delhi

Reach Delhi and you will be received with much welcome and handed over to your hotel. Once you have settled down, start your exploration of India by first visiting India gate which is the national monument dedicated to the fallen soldiers. Pass by the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Parliament House which are magnificent examples of British architecture.

Then, proceed to the Tomb of Humayun, which is a UNESCO world heritage site that inspired the appearance of the Taj Mahal. Complete the day by having a walk around the Connaught Place where you can shop around the bookshops, cafes and neighborhood stores and then head back to your hotel to have a good night sleep.

Delhi Sightseeing

In the morning visit Old Delhi, and begin with Jama Masjid which is one of the largest mosques in India. Walk or ride a rickshaw in Chandni Chowk, where the spices shops, street food and cloth stalls abound. Visit the largest spice market in Asia, Khari Baoli, to be caught up in the colorful melee of spices in India. During the evening, have some rest at Lodhi Garden, where the old tombs harmonize with nature. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Arrival in Agra

Drive to Agra after breakfast. Arrive at your hotel and take a break. You can start your Agra sightseeing with Agra Fort, a red sandstone fort which was constructed by Emperor Akbar. Explore its palaces, court yards, and mosques; overlooking the Yamuna River and the Taj Mahal in the far. Next stop, the Mughal garden, Mehtab Bagh, on the other side of the river, where the Taj Mahal has a flawless view of the sunset. Later in the evening, go to the Marble Inlay Workshop where people are being crafted to make their delicate work through traditional craftsmanship. Go back to your hotel and have the night.

Explore Agra

Rise early and go to the Taj Mahal at sunrise the time when the white marble is lightening in pink and gold. Take time and appreciate the beauty, symmetry and love story behind it.

After breakfast, see the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah also known as the Baby Taj. Then visit Kinari Bazaar which is one of the oldest markets in Agra that sells jewelry, sweets and handicrafts. Spend your evening with leisure or visit the Taj Nature Walk as an option where one can have peaceful scenery and view birds. Overnight in Agra.

Explore Fatehpur Sikri and Ranthambore

The day starts with breakfast and then starts your drive  to Ranthambore National Park. En route, visit the great red sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri, constructed by Emperor Akbar. Stroll across Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal and the Palace of Jodha Bai that still retains its ancient charm. Keep on the trip to Ranthambore, which is the land of tigers and beautiful sceneries. On arrival, receive a check in to your wildlife resort and rest. During the night, either have a bonfire or a documentary of the wildlife in the park. Night stay and dinner at the resort.

Explore Ranthambore

Wake up early and go to the morning jungle safari within Ranthambore national park. One of the most ideal locations in India where the Bengal tigers can be seen in the wild is the park. You can also encounter leopards, deer, sloth bears, peacocks and crocodiles.

Upon going back to your resort, have snacks  and overnight night stay at Ranthambore.

Visit Jaipur

Breakfast, then drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.Arrive at your hotel and take some rest. Then, go and see Birla Temple which consists of pure white marble and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.

Jaipur Sightseeing

Have Breakfast, and then go to see Amber Fort, a large hill top fort constructed of red sandstone and marble. Have a jeep ride or elephant ride along the ramparts. The Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) and Ganesh Pol gate are on the inside, known for their complex artwork. Then comes Jaigarh Fort where the largest cannon in the world is found on wheels. During the afternoon, visit the City Palace, a grand royal complex, museums and courtyards that are a display of the royal heritage of Jaipur. The last stop of the day is the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, where royal women could view city life through its lattice windows. Go back to your hotel and take a rest.

Jaipur Field trip to Pushkar

Then take a day out to Pushkar (approximately 3 hours after breakfast). The holy lake and Brahma Temple, among the few temples in the world that have been dedicated to Lord Brahma are known to be found in this peaceful town. Stroll through the ghats and observe the worshipers praying. Go through the Pushkar Market which deals with handmade jewelry, bohemian clothes and leather items. Take lunch or coffee in a cafe by the lake.

During the evening, it is worthwhile to go on a camel ride through the sand dunes in the sunset. This will be a memorable and unique experience of the desert of Rajasthan. Travel back to Jaipur where you spend the night.

Departure

In the morning, you begin your journey back to Delhi. During the route, you can have a pleasant sightseeing tour of the countryside and take brief tea or snack breaks. You can visit Dilli Haat which is a marketplace of handicrafts located in Delhi depending on your flight schedule.
