It begins when you get to Kathgodam or Ramnagar. You will get a Chetram representative who will take you about Nainital, a two or three-hour journey. On the first day, having arrived at the hotel, enjoy at the Naini lake all day. Go for a relaxing cruise, stroll along the Mall road and weep in the lake-side Naina Devi Temple. After evening see the lake lights and dinner in the hotel. The cool breeze and the silent beauty relaxes your mood to go forward with the rest of your adventure.
Begin a day by having breakfast with a view of the hills and the Snow View Point and Tiffin top that offers you scenic views of the mountain. Then continue on to Bhimtal, Sattal and Naukuchiatal, three lakes with oak and pine trees. You may take a boat or walk along the lakesides, which are idealized in taking photos and relaxation. Visit the Doe-Does at the Butesque Nainital in the evening and buy some local handi, woolen or candles in Tibetan Market or Bara Bazaar. Overnight in Nainital.
BreakfastGas (Drive of five hours) to Kausani, a hill station, which is very quiet and has expansive views of the mountains such as Nanda Devi, Trishul, and the Panchachuli mountains. Make a stopover at Almora on the route to its ancient streets, sweets and temples. On arriving at Kausani, have your meal and rest in the cool pine wind in your hotel. This will be followed later by a visit to Anashakti Ashram where Mahatma stayed and Rudradhari Falls within dense forest. During the evening, witness the sunset across the snow-covered Himalayas.
We will take a leisurely breakfast, then drive some 2 hours to Ranikhet, which is a beautiful old and charming town of deodar trees, the buildings in town were built during British rule. See the Jhula Devi Temple with her bells; and take a stroll in the Chaubatia Gardens, with their apple orchards and mountainous sceneries. Explorations in silence lanes, the Golf Course as well as the Kumaon Regimental Centre Museum. In the evening, spend your night in your resort in pine forests. Only dinner and stay at Ranikhet.
Then go to Jim Corbett national park which is approximately 3-4 hours after breakfast. Go into a lodge, or a resort, at Ramnagar. Take a moment after a sightseeing by the Kosi River or pay a visit to Garjia Devi Temple on one of the stones by the river. The bird sounds and the running water introduce the theme of wildlife adventure. Overnight and dinner at the resort.
Early wake up, Jeep Safari in Jim Corbett National Park. Explore the sal forests, river belts and the grasslands as the travel guide assists you to see the animals such as the deer, elephants, peacocks, the Bengal tiger which may or may not be seen. The morning fog gives a fantastical touch. Relax in the pool after coming back to have breakfast. You can undertake some optional bird watch or go to Corbett falls. The remaining day is spent free time, it involves a bonfire, stories, and taste the local food under the stars. Overnight in Corbett.
In the morning after breakfast, leave goodbye to the Corbett forests. You are allowed to walk along a short path around your resort, or to stop at some village close at hand before you start to Ramnagar or Kathgodam towards the continuance of your trip.
