Tour Plan

Welcome to Rishikesh

Check into a spiritual and adventure town Rishikesh, located at the feet of the Himalayas. Make a booking to join your eco-lodge or camp, sleep, and become familiar with the location. The first part of the day is the general orientation lecture, in which the leader of the expedition talks about the triathlon plan, rules of safety, and targets of the environmental goals.

Later in the evening pay a visit to Parmarth Niketan Ghat or Triveni Ghat to attend a peaceful Ganga Aarti ( lamps are floating in the river ). This gives spiritual undertones to the trip because everyone is reminded why the Ganga has to be preserved. Staying overnight at Rishikesh, having dinner by the banks of the river whatsoever remained and little ahead to do was the cycling part.

Biking trip -Rishikesh to Devprayag (Approx. 70km)

Breakfast is over now: prepare to participate in the cycling race of the triathlon. The Rishikesh Devprayag journey takes twisted mountainous paths overlooking the entire Ganga valley. The group will have a support vehicle that will assist and provide hydration on the way.

At intervals pull over in clean-up places along small river banks and ghats. The crew clears plastic and garbage and explains to the locals that the river should be clean. Lunch is taken on the road at cafe or picturesque place.

Arrive at the holy confluence Paris or Prayag at the meeting point of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers the official beginning point of the Ganga. The evening is left free to the thoughts or photography amongst the confluence. One night of an eco baby lodge in a river inlet.

Running Trail - Devprayag to Kaudiyala (About 15-20km)

Breakfast is first followed by the running section that runs its course from Devprayag to Kaudiyala on peaceful paths. The road tracks along small towns and woody areas along the river.

There will be short environmental breaks where the participants will plant saplings or will carry such awareness talks to the local children. The day is an endurance one and an object centered day.

Came to Kaudiyala in the afternoon. The party takes camp at riversides. The night is about light yoga, bonfire talks on sustainability and guides and expert stories. Night and dinner in the camp.

Rafting and Cleaning River - Kaudiyala to Rishikesh.

The rafting segment of the trip follows the breakfast and is a very thrilling experience. The rafting group will cover a range of Kaudiyala to Rishikesh (with safety equipment and experienced guides) through the most popular rapids, such as Daniels Dip, Wall, and the Three Blind Mice.

In peaceful periods, the participants purify the water, gather post plastic particles, and educate locals and tourists on the use of rivers. This is a stretch that is a combination of the thrill and an environmental hit.

It serves refreshments back in the afternoon in Rishikesh. Subsequently, a briefing period concludes, reviewing performance accomplishments - the quantities of waste recycled, the area that has been covered by spreading and so on. In the evening you can relax or see the local market. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Reflection, Culture and Departure-Haridwar.

The last stop is Haridwar, which should be made after breakfast (it takes approximately 1.5 hours when driving). Go to Har Ki pauri which is quite a holy ghat where pilgrims take a bath in the sacred water. The small clean-up will occur here and this will mark the path between the point of origin at Devprayag to the plains at Haridwar. Venture in the market, in temples and ghats.

During the evening, observe the spectacular Ganga Aarti, a spiritual send-off to the river at the end of five days of religious devotion and service. Once the ceremony is concluded the group breaks up to resume their journey and having their share of adventure with the memory of the global contribution to the most holy river in India.
