Start your adventure in Uttarakhand with Haridwar, a sacred city along the Ganges. Check in to your hotel and have a shower and then go out to explore. See Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Temples, which are located on the top of hills and provide a beautiful view of the city and river. In the evening it is also possible to visit Ganga Aarti on Har Ki Pauri when thousands of diyas are floating on the river and then visit the local markets and have some traditional snacks such as kachori, samosa, and jalebi and then head back to your hotel.
Have Morning breakfast and then drive to Rishikesh, the world capital of yoga. Visit Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula, the historic suspension bridges over the Ganges and finally visit Triveni Ghat. In the evening, have a relaxing Ganga Aarti, not as meditative as that in Haridwar, but more peaceful. Post-breakfast drive to Mussoorie, which is a beautiful hill station located at the Garhwal Himalayas. Board a cable car to the Gun Hill to view the spectacular panoramas and then go on a tranquil walk at the Camel Back Road.
During the evening, attend the sunset at the hills, and have a nice dinner in a cafe with the view of the valley. The mountain air and the picturesque town atmosphere is a perfect hill station experience.
Begin your day with a tour of Kempty falls which is one of the most well known sites in Mussoorie. The cascading waterfall with beautiful green plants is ideal in capturing images and indulging. Then go to Lal Tibba, the top most spot in Mussoorie that provides stunning Himalayan scenery. Company Garden is also a well-maintained park that has several colorful flowers, fountains, and a small amusement park. Spend the night shopping in Mall Road or just enjoy at your hotel and soaking in the cool mountain atmosphere.
In the morning wake up, have breakfast and drive to Nainital, another pretty hill town with a concentration of lakes and pine forests.
