Tour Plan

Arrive in Udaipur

Your journey starts when you get out of Meerut and get into Udaipur known as City of Lakes. The first sightseeing after your arrival at the hotel and having a few hours of rest is a visit to the Badi Lake which is an offbeat attraction located just outside the city. There are few tourists at the lake, and it is very quiet and ideal when you need to relax upon completing your trip. You can sit close to the steps, enjoy the cool air and see the water mirroring the sky. The adjacent Bahubali Hill station point is a short hike where the hills of Udaipur are rolled out in folds. It is a magical, orange light over the lake at sunset. Enjoy an authentic Rajasthan dinner at the end of the day by taking a calming spa session.

Explore City Palace and Old City Lanes.

Make the way to the Udaipur City Palace, which is the largest palace complex of Rajasthan, your first destination in the morning. Its courtyards, rooms with mosaics, arches, and the galleries of antique make you enter the royal world of Mewar kings. The balconies offer views of Lake Pichola and Aravalli mountains which are memorable. Take a stroll along such areas as Jagdish Chowk, Gangaur Ghat, which is where life moves at a soothing pace and every street is a story itself. During the evening, have a boat ride on Lake Pichola where you pass through the lighted City Palace and Jag Mandir Palace with the waterfront lights reflecting on the water. Return back to your hotel and relax

Visit Rayta Village

After having breakfast leave for Rayta Village in one of the valleys of rolling hills and forest patches. Rayta Village is characterized by the scenic landscapes. You may stroll through villages, talk to villagers or just sit under a tree observing the life of rural Rajasthan. The best thing with Rayta is the valley view, one that offers an infinite view of green fields in between a couple of hills. Eat lunch at a local eatery, simple stuff such as bajra roti, lehsun chutney and ghee. The quiet afternoon and the atmosphere is good to take photographs or simply breathe in the clean air. Go back to Udaipur in the evening, have a rest or do some shopping at the vibrant Hathipole market

Discover Bari Sadri

After having breakfast, explore Bari Sadri where there are hills and are dotted with ancient temples making it a quiet and less explored town. Start with the Barbarik Temple, where there is much spiritual tension. The second area of sightseeing must be the old stepwells and cenotaphs that narrate the history of the area. Bari Sadri gives you an opportunity to experience the heritage of Rajasthan without any noise. Wander through the village markets where the traditional pottery and other hand made products are still made. Spend time taking a light lunch in a local restaurant and get back to Udaipur in the afternoon. Complete the day by a relaxing stroll at Fateh Sagar Lake. Return back to your hotel and eat your dinner and take rest

Visit Ranthambore National Park.

Early in the morning leave Udaipur and visit Ranthambore which is one of the most known national parks in India. Once you arrive at and are at home in your lodge, prepare to go on a jeep safari in the afternoon. You will tour the park through thick forest trails, banyan trees, rocky valleys and lakes that animals frequented regularly. Ranthambore has been considered as the place with a high probability of sighting the tigers. One should watch out to capture a sight of deer, sambar, monkey, crocodile and most importantly the kingly Bengal tiger as you trail the forest.
Ranthambore Fort is a forest enclosed with ruined walls, which give the safari an air of mystery. That golden sunset light amidst the trees is to be forgotten. Following the safari, have a warm meal in your lodge hearing the tales of the jungle.

Discover Shilpgram

Have breakfast and then visit Shilpgram, a famous rural handicraft and art village near Udaipur. This is an ideal representation of the village life of Rajasthan. You will be able to visit huts, observe the work of potters, textile workers and handicraft, and cultural performances. Shilpgram is ideal to get to know about the local traditions, art and lifestyle. It is also possible to shop handmade items as souvenirs. Spend the day here in peace, and then go back to your hotel in Udaipur to sleep.
